annual QOF data validation service
Our QOF Data Validation service could save your practice thousands of pounds in unclaimed income and increase the value of your QOF points by boosting your practice prevalence of chronic disease and identifying QOF work which has been undertaken but incorrectly coded.
The QToolset is designed to prevent coding errors as a patient record is updated. Our Data Validation service is designed to identify retrospective coding errors within your practice population. We have a large collection of complex searches that are aimed at identifying these patients. All of our searches are run remotely and analysed by an experienced GP. We do not need to view individual patient records to run these searches.
Practices renewing their subscription to our QToolset will receive a free Detailed Validation Report in the month after they have renewed their subscription*. This ensures that any coding errors made in the previous year are identified and corrected.
*We are only able to offer this service where a practice has previously purchased a Detailed QOF Data Validation report.

understanding prevalence
The value of a QOF point varies between practices and depends on the size of the practice and the prevalence of chronic disease in a specific QOF domain.
If you have not coded all of your dementia patients correctly, for example, the value of each QOF point in this domain will be reduced. This can have a significant impact on your income.
case-study - dementia QOF domain
Total patients on QOF Dementia Register: 135
Patients with dementia but incorrectly coded: 16
Value of each correctly coded patient: £111
Gain in value of QOF Dementia Register once all patients correctly coded: £1,782
