Should you want to run a search which includes patients on a particular QOF register, it can be time-consuming to enter all of the separate diagnostic codes. Fortunately EMIS Web has a solution - Library Code Lists.

To use Library Code Lists, do the following:
- When composing a search go to 'click here to begin adding rules to the search'
- Select 'create a new rule' from the submenu
- Select 'click here to choose the type of feature you would like to create' and choose 'clinical codes'
- Select 'click here to add criteria to this feature' and hover over 'clinical code', then left-click on 'library code list'.
